Sorry for the short delay in getting these out OUS fans! Here are the three athletes chosen this week as OUS Athletes of the Week.

Kiyah Hurry from the TMU Bold had a great start to the 2023 season helping TMU end week 1 with a 3-1 overall record. Hurry, a second year player pitched two complete games, and also went .500 at the plate helping TMU at home with series over McMaster and Brock.

Jordanna Hartley from the University of Ottawa was also a dual threat. Throwing 27.1 innings over the weekend Hartley picked up 3 wins for the Gee Gee’s and also batted .500 at the plate over 20 AB’s.

Hanneke Insert-Bender threw the first no-hitter of the season against defending league champion Queen’s Saturday. Bender only allowed 1 base runner, and threw only 57 pitches in the victory.
