Badgers to Host Softball Clinic

St Catherine’s ON

The Brock Badgers Women’s Softball program is once again opening its doors to the next generation of athletes, announcing the return of its highly anticipated annual softball clinic.

Building on the success of last year’s event, the second annual Brock Badgers Softball Clinic will provide young players with an outstanding opportunity to sharpen their skills while learning directly from current Brock Badgers student-athletes. Designed to help participants prepare for upcoming tryouts and the season ahead, the clinic focuses on creating a fun, challenging, and supportive environment where athletes can continue to grow both on and off the field.

Throughout the clinic, participants will receive high-quality instruction covering every aspect of the game, including hitting, fielding, pitching, and catching. The hands-on sessions are designed to improve fundamental skills while helping players gain confidence, develop game awareness, and build a stronger understanding of the sport.

Beyond the technical instruction, the clinic also gives young athletes the unique opportunity to interact with university-level players who have successfully navigated the path from minor softball to collegiate competition. Brock’s student-athletes will share their knowledge, experiences, and passion for the game, providing valuable mentorship and inspiration for the next generation of players.

“Our goal is to provide young athletes with the opportunity to develop their skills, build confidence, and prepare for upcoming tryouts and the season ahead through high-quality instruction from our student-athletes,” said the Brock Badgers coaching staff. “We’re excited to welcome players of all skill levels and continue building connections within the softball community.”

The Brock Badgers Softball Clinic reflects the program’s ongoing commitment to growing the game and supporting the development of young athletes across Ontario. Whether participants are stepping onto the field for the first time or looking to elevate their game, the clinic promises an enjoyable and rewarding experience led by some of the province’s top university softball players. Clinic dates are August 29 and August 30.

Registration for the clinic is now open, and interested athletes are encouraged to secure their spot early as space is expected to fill quickly.
