Since its founding, the OUS has evolved into a top-level destination for post secondary softball in Canada. The league has expanded since year 1, and now features a competitive 12-member league. Today, student-athletes from universities across Ontario gear up each fall to vie for provincial glory. Reaching the silver anniversary marks a major milestone for the organization, reflecting decades of dedication from players, coaches, volunteers, and league administrators who built the foundation for women’s fastpitch for those attending universities in Ontario.
The School’s Out Tournament, a fund-raiser for Laurier and Waterloo softball has collaborated, designed and donated t-shirts to celebrate the launch of the OUS’s anniversary season. The OUS and its member teams would like to thank those that run the School’s Out Tournament for this awesome way for all athletes attending to remember the weekend event.
As the Ontario University Softball League reflects on 25 successful seasons, donations like those from the School’s Out Tournament emphasize the strong sense of camaraderie within the softball community. The OUS is actively looking for more community sponsors and partners to further enhance the league experience for all who participate.
